Spirit Guide Oils

Natural Magick Spirit Guide oils are made with reverence and research to be pleasing devotional blends for the animals or beings they are named for. I research legend and lore, and try to use oils of plants that represent the guide, what it does and what it smells like. The Natural Magick process of using planetary and elemental influences, correspondence, and high quality ingredients is especially appropriate for invoking the nature of your guide.

Anoint yourself to attune to your totem, or pour into offering bowls or aromatherapy lamps, or anoint statues or fetish objects.

These oils are not made as fakey perfumes with marketable names. Fox really does smell wild and clever, Bear is somber and impressive, Angel is ethereal and bright, Dragon smells like smoke and scales.

Spirit Guide oils are in beautiful round 1/2 ounce bottles, and most are blended in 100% fractionated coconut oil, so with any care they should last a very long time. They are priced according to the ingredients most resembling the guide so named.

Jellyfish oil

Jellyfish is a consciousness very remote from human consciousness. Serene, mysterious, almost alien, Jellyfish partakes of the Element of Water and is buoyed by the Full Moon. A more Oceanic being could hardly be imagined.

Jellyfish are very cool, very beautiful, but honestly, I added this offering to the Spirit Guide line of devotional oils because I was disturbed at how the Element of Water was so unrepresented in the Animal Guides. Really, only Otter and Dolphin had been my totally Water Animal Guides, and both of them are mammals. Jellyfish bring the Elements of Natural Magick Shop more into balance.

So how does it smell? And what do you do with it? Best I can describe, is it smells very bright (since many Jellies are bioluminescent) and watery, and serene. It would be for someone who wants to make spiritual contact with Oceanic Intelligences. It strikes me that watching the pulsating motion of the Jelly is very trance inducing, so Jellyfish oil might be good for an easy meditation introduction. It has real Sandalwood essential oil to communicate this relaxed, wordless spirituality.

For very real reasons, humankind is focusing on Oceanic intelligences more and more. Our oceans are at peril, and we are obligated to stretch our consciousness, extend our compassion to include beings that are very dissimilar to ourselves. Hopefully this expanded consciousness will give us the moral imperative and ethical muscle to alter our lifestyles in order to protect the oceans. If anything, perhaps Jellyfish Spirit Guide is an opportunity to practice seeing the world from a non-anthropocentric viewpoint.
