Magic
Wands
My
wands are made with the utmost care and exacting
protocol.
They are respectfully harvested with permission
from local trees. Wood is gathered only on the
first Wednesday of the New Moon during the active
growth season, and the wands are crafted only on
Wednesdays during the Waxing Moon. Please refer to
my treatise on
wandmaking for the whole story on wands.
These are precision instruments and should be
treated with care. There is no glue used and
the stones are held tight to the wood by dynamic
tension of the wire. If you drop your wand and it
lands on the top stone, you could bend it
loose.
It is okay to get your wand wet, and to polish
the silver with polishing cloth, but anointing oils
would stain the wood, and salt would tarnish the
silver or copper wire. If you are used to
consecrating your wands with an oil, I recommend
using a tea of lavender, vervain, or a combo of the
two herbs, or the smoke of Consecration
incense.
Wands are one-of-a-kind items and
you are ordering the exact
wand pictured. As soon as you claim it, I remove it
from the list and then no one else can order
it.

Vigora.
This tumbled Rutilated Quartz is very active, and
set on top of high energy Hackberry. Heavy gauge
silver wire hold the energy firmly. Rutilated
Quartz if not for everyone, as it is said to bring
about change very rapidly. Karmic return would be
equally speedy. I have a feeling this wand would be
good for long-distance working in spite of its
short stature. 9" long. $48

Tigre
Bianca. Silver wire on silvery-white Green
Ash connects this Tiger's Eye crystal. The Tiger's
Eye is tumbled, many-banded and shaped like a
Tiger's head. It looks up, into the trees, and
unlike most Tigers, this cat goes about by
daylight. This is not a beginner's wand. I could
easily see it being used by an Elder, someone with
silver hair, self-knowledge and a well developed
will. 11 1/4" long $48
Iuppiter.
Amethyst tops this Walnut wand, together creating a
stout, sturdy wand with strong Jupiter
correspondence. Though not devoid of spiritual
authority, the Amethyst purple together with the
food-bearing wood gives this wand towards
prosperity magic and leadership. 14" long $48
Prentice.
A natural Quartz crystal emerges from this stout
Willow wand. With heavy-gauge Copper wire, this
wand is up for outdoor, active use. It would be
perfect as a first wand, since the materials are
very standard-issue. The crystal does have its own
personality, three sides are clear and three sides
are cloudy, with the clear and the cloudy
alternating.13 1/4" $45
Willow
Selene. You could not get a much more Lunar
influenced wand, with an almost crescent-shaped
Moonstone mounted atop a slender Willow branch with
Silver wire. I don't think it would work for
daytime use. But in Moon light, it glows bright. I
would have expected a radiant energy from this
tumbled Moonstone wand, but it is quite directional
in its energy signal, at least at night. 16 7/16" $45
Zoii.
The Ruby in Zoisite topstone of this wand is shaped
like a snake's head, and the vivid pink and green
is quite eye catching. A purplish Elm wand makes
this a very colorful tool. This wand would be a
natural for any visual artist, and for magick of
creative purposes. 13 1/8" long $50

Archer.
Gracefully, this Elm wand wood arcs towards its
crystal, which is a tumbled pink crystalline stone
that looks like the Ruby in Ruby/Zoisite. I don't
remember what it is, but for a pink stone it is
very energetic, not softly radiant like Rose Quartz
or Rhodocrosite. If you hold it like a gun, it
rests very easily in the right hand. It also likes
to be held like a teacup, with pinkie finger
extended. I don't think it would work well for a
left handed practitioner. The curvature is very
unusual, but in spite of this wand's oddities, it
is all-purpose. 12 1/4" long. $50sold June18,
2008
Titania.
One of the most familiar (least frightening?) of
the Faery Queene aspect, Titania has been asking
for a namesake wand of me for quite some time.
Peridot is a Fae-vorite stone, and this one
is bound to a Mulberry stem with copper wire. Don't
let the tiny stone and the slender wand wood fool
you. Titania is really a Titan, and this wand would
be willing to do big-picture magick. 14 5/8" $45sold March 11,
2008
Rhianna.
Long and slender, this natural Quartz crystal
sprouts from a slender Hackberry stem. Nimble and
wild, there is the feel of a young horse or even
Unicorn in this wand. For such a slim wand, it is
sturdy enough for outdoor workings. 15 1/16" long $48sold February 22,
2008
Newtonian.
I name this wand for Sir Isaac Newton. A banded
purple and green Fluorite tumbled crystal is set
firmly on this Green Ash wand wood with Silver
wire. Newton divided the Rainbow into its seven
colors and associated the diatonic music scale to
the colors. This wand is dedicated to exploration,
knowledge and magickal science, a natural for the
Hermetic practitioner. 13 7/8 $50sold February 6,
2008
Plato.
The Octahedron is one of the regularly sided
Platonic solids, and is associated with Mercury.
This natural octahedronal Fluorite crystal is
firmly bound to a knobby Red Mulberry wand with
heavy-gauge silver. Since Mercury rules Wands in
general, this is an all-purpose wand. I could see
it being used by magicians of an Alchemical bent.
13 1/2". $50sold December 13,
2007
Viridios.
Viridios is the name of a Celtic god whose name
translates in both Celtic and Latin to "Green Man,"
so he might be the ancient antecedent to the more
modern "Green Man" of British churches. A very
green tumbled Aventurine tops this stout Texas Oak
wand wrapped with heavy Copper which will turn
green when tarnished over time. This wand has a
very Druidic feel and look to it, and a gentle
green energy. 15". $40sold November 23,
2007
Regis
Diamantina. At nearly two feet long, this
wand commands authority. The natural quartz crystal
is from the Diamanina area of Brazil, known for
these tapering laser quartz crystals with many
facets. This one has a baby coming from the base.
It is also a "singing quartz." The wand wood is
from a very old Crabapple tree, and it is wrapped
in strong copper wire. This is definitely for your
High Priest/ess, or a powerful Wizard. 23 7/8
inches. $75sold September 23,
2007
Ninae.
This tiny wand packs a punch and would travel very
well. Tumbled Citrine tops a Willow wand at only 8
1/4" long. Heavy-gauge Silver wire makes this a
sturdy wand. Citrine is said to never need
cleansing, and is used to dispel stale or negative
energy. All-purpose plus Defense Against the Dark
Arts. 8 1/3 inches. $40sold September 14,
2007
Rectitude.
Very sturdy construction, a Tourmalinated Quartz
tops a Green Ash wand. All-purpose wand, this would
also excel at banishing unhealthy influences. 14
inches. $45sold
August 27, 2007
Phantomize. Cut
Quartz crystal with Chlorite Phantom inside. This
stone is set with Copper onto a Willow wand.
All-purpose, graceful and sturdy. 16 and 1/3
inches. $40sold August 14,
2007
Resolve.
This wand is made out of 3/4 inch copper tubing.
The top stone is a Quartz crystal egg, and the
bottom stone is Bloodstone. The wire caging the
topstone goes through the length of the tubing and
then cages the bottom stone, ending in a braided
loop, which could be used to string on feathers,
etc. The striations on the copper tube are made
with Pummice stone, and all the strokes are made
from botton to top for the most outward orientation
of energy. This should be a most powerful,
conductive wand. 12 inch 3/4 inch including the
bottom loop. $45sold July 28,
2007
Violet
Serpent. Amethyst tops this twisting
snakelike wand of Japanese honeysuckle. When it
rests on the table, the "head" of the Serpent
points up. Honeysuckle is the only wood I harvest
from dead branches, because the live vine is not
stiff enough. For all the twisty-ness, this is not
just a novelty wand. Sometimes a straight line is
not the shortest path toward your goal. 13 and 3/4
inches. $40sold July 28,
2007
Elan.
Copper wire attaches this Peridot topstone to a
long slender Elm wand. All-purpose wand with
Elvish, wild, healing and dancer energy signatures.
This wand is more delicate because of it's slender,
graceful build, not for rough-and-tumble. 16 3/4
inches. $40sold July 17,
2007
Veracity. Very
sturdy construction, a Red Tiger's Eye tops a Texas
Oak wand. Copper wire helps bring out the reds of
the topstone. All-purpose wand, this would be good
for high-energy people who seek to better
control their magickal output. 10 1/2 inches. $40sold July 15,
2007
Mari.
Dreamy Rose Quartz tops this Creek Plum wand.
Aphrodite herself could have a good time with this
wand. Love, heart healing, the arts, this is a very
feminine wand. 15 and 3/8 inches. $40sold June 26,
2007
Leonine.
Copper wire attaches this Carnelian topstone to a
stout Willow wand. All-purpose wand with strength,
healing and energy signatures. When the weight
rests naturally in your hand, it has a pronounced
phallic set to the topstone. 17 inches. $30sold May 24,
2007
Initiate.
Natural Quartz crystal, slightly doubled, topping a
Willow wand. Sturdy construction well suited for
outdoor, active use, very much an all-purpose,
standard-issue wand. 15 and 5/8 inches. $45 sold
April 20, 2007
Ward.
A very dark Smoky Quartz tops this wand made of
Hackberry. This would be an all-purpose wand with
special strength for courage and defense. 13 and
1/16 inches. $40 sold
Mar 29, 2007
Flourish.
Fluorite of pale purple and green is set atop this
Black Walnut wand. Healing and intuition would come
easily through this more receptive wand. 16 and 3/8
inches. $35
sold March 9, 2007
Precise.
Natural clear Fluorite crystal, an octahedron,
which of the five Platonic solids has an affinity
for the element of Air. The octahedral shape of the
Fluorite crystal aligns Eights, Air, and Mercury in
one message. Red Mulberry suits the mercurial
aspect perfectly. An all-purpose wand which would
be excellent for a student of the Hermetic arts,
healing, learning, and clarity. 14 inches. $35
sold Feb. 21, 2007
Elron.
Emerald topstone on an American Elm wand makes this
an Elvish favorite. Wild, outdoor magick would be
livened by this wand, or use it for highbrow Elf
work, your choice. The Copper wire will eventually
tarnish to green, which should go nicely with the
Emerald. 15 and 1/2 inches. $35sold Feb. 14,
2007
Trini.
Set onto Texas Oak, the topstone of this wand is
most unusual. It
is a cut crystal with six sides of Amethyst, half
clear and half purple, and shot through it are
little reddish threads of Lepidocrosite. I can see
this wand being used by a person with serious
spiritual discipline and dedication. 11 and 7/8
inches. $45sold Jan.
2007
Ruby
Starr. A Star Ruby tops this long elegant
Green Ash wand. As special as this stone is, for
love, resolve, courage, grace, and healing, really
it would be a fine all-purpose wand. 17 and 3/4
inches. $45sold Jan.
