This Bay Leaf essential oil is a high-quality mid-grade product. It is very strong Bay Leaf smell and blends well with woodsy and spicy scents. This is Bay Leaf from the Bay tree, Lauris nobilis. Many vendors sell/mislabel the West Indian Bay (Pimenta racemosa), which is from a seed closely related to Allspice (Pimenta officinalis) as Bay Leaf essential oil. Himalayan Cedarwood (Cedrus deodora)is a thrifty essential oil to give depth and fullness to many blends. Sweet, woodsy and resinous, it is related to the ancient Cedars of Lebanon (Cedrus libani) and has almost identical magickal properties. You will find many reasons to use this delicious oil.

It blends well with just about any other scent, but it is easy to overpower its fragrance. Frankincense also works "behind the scenes" of any blend, harmonizing otherwise disparate ingredients, and serving as an excellent fixative.

This Geranium Bourbon distilled from Pelargonium graveolens Geranium, is a high-quality high-grade product. You will find myriads of magical and mundane uses for this essential oil. While still quite "rose-y" smelling, this variety has more leafy and green notes than my Rose Geranium. I believe it has more Air Element in it. Geraniums in general are used for protection because of the hand-shaped palmately compound leaf, and a lot of them have red flowers. The freshness of the scent makes it go well in purification and healing formulas as well. The rose-scented ones will be used much like Roses are used in magick, especially for love.

It is very balanced but strong Lavender smell and blends very well, However, this is the Lavender to use when you intend to use it "neat" without blending. It has a fuller, more balanced aroma than my mid-grade Lavender. Lavender is also used widely for general healing and specifically to quell high heat imbalance.

This Mugwort essential oil is a high-quality mid-grade product. It has a deep, sweet Mugwort smell and blends very well with other leafy or flowery smells.

This Myrrh essential oil is a high-quality mid-grade product. It has a deep, mellow Myrrh smell and blends very well. If you buy a bottle of this and let it age for six months to a year, it would improve to a high-quality product, because this essential oil improves with age.

Neroli is a precious essential oil. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way. You will be amazed at how just a few drops will bring a formula to life. Neroli is the scent of the flower of the Bitter Orange, so it shares some of the Solar planetary and Fire Elemental aspects of its plant. However, I believe that Neroli distills the Air portion out of the Fire, and Venus arises from its Sun.

Orange essential oil is a basic that will find its way into many magickal, household, and aromatherapy potions. Orange is used magickally for luck, money, love and success.

This Patchouli essential oil is a high-quality high-grade product. It has a deep, pungent Patchouli smell and blends very well. I feel very lucky to have the source for this excellent well-aged dark Patchouli essential oil. We may never get Patchouli e.o. as good as it was in the 70's, but this one is close as it gets.

This Vetiver essential oil is a high-quality mid-grade product. It is very strong grassy smell and blends very well, especially with Rose and green leafy smells. It is fixative, harmonizing, and can perform as either a mid note or bottom note in formulations. It is very sticky and sludgy, and will take awhile to blend into base oils. Vetiver is very much used in magick for money, prosperity, love, and anti-hex spells.

This Ylang Ylang essential oil is a high-quality mid-grade product. This is the "first" distillation, which yields a very sweet, uncomplicated floral which is excellent for blending. Highly feminine and seductive, Ylang Ylang will be great for women's perfumes for love, seduction and lust. It is stronger and has more staying power than many other florals.

This Ylang Ylang essential oil is a very high-quality high-grade product. Ylang Ylang complete is the combination of the first, second, and third distillations of this tropcal flower. The second and third distillations are considered lower quality, but when all three are combined, it makes a very full and complex scent. This is the one you will use when you want Ylang by itself.
