Thor oil

Thor is the subject of a multitude of stories and legends. Immensely popular as he is among all the Germanic tribes, his name is born by many places and variations of his name become favorite first names and surnames. All of his stories involve some sort of exploit of challenge and heroism, in fact Thor might be called the father of the modern superhero. We love him for his strength and forgive his many flaws.

Parallels between Thor and the Roman god Jupiter are easy to make, since both are king/sons of elder kings and have power over the fierce forces of thunderstorms. They also share the same sacred day of the week, since Jupiter rules Thursday.
